Our Students’ Stories

Here, current and former LabCB-AIFEN students share their experiences as part of our research group

If you are considering graduate studies—MSc (BIMARENA) or PhD (BEMARENA) at the Universidad de Guadalajara—please note that all applicants must be supported by a researcher who is officially part of the academic faculty of the program.
Applications submitted without the endorsement of a qualified advisor will not be considered by the selection committee.
For example, Dr. Ricardo Ramírez-Romero, head of LabCB-AIFEN, is one of the faculty members eligible to support applications to BIMARENA and BEMARENA.
If you are interested in pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in insect ecology, behavior, interactions, or biological control, we encourage you to contact us before submitting your application. This contact will allow us to evaluate the alignment of your interests with our research focus and assess the possibility of academic supervision.
